January
2007 It's the end of another academic year, and our big news is the successful hire of a full-time tenure-track faculty member to lead our acdemic transition efforts. Welcome to Ruth Gay. Ruth comes to us from Taft College in Kern County. In her full-time assignment at Taft, she developed 11 noncredit and credit ESL courses, providing the college with a meaningful continuum of coursework for their ESL population. In addition to Ruth's program development skills, she has taught all levels of credit and noncredit ESL, including family literacy courses. Welcome Ruth! I want to extend my sincerest "thank you " to all faculty and instructional aides for another successful year. We continue to create a very succesful learning environment for our students. Enjoy The Communicator! Dates to Remember |
