Find an On-Campus Job

If you are looking for on-campus employment, positions will be posted in the Jobs Binders located in the Career Center, Building 3700, Oceanside Campus, Academic Support room at the CLC, or the Student Activities office at SEC.

Federal Work Study students may apply for on-campus positions only and should bring a copy of their Award Notification to their appointment with the Student Employment Office. For additional information on federal work study, please visit the Financial Aid website or contact Financial Aid directly at 760.795.6711.

Find an Off-Campus Job

If you are looking for an off-campus position, we offer access to a number of web-based employment sites. We offer additional job search support through our free workshops on researching and identifying employment opportunities, preparing professional resumes and cover letters, and interviewing techniques.  Students and alumni have access to a variety of electronic resources and Internet sites in our lab. No appointment is necessary to use the lab; however, if you'd like to attend a workshop or consult with a staff member, it's best to make arrangements in advance by calling us at (760) 795-6772.

Find an Internship

Students may access all internship listings using our online employer database, CareerPoint.
Username: gstudent, Password: w1234567. This is a guest pass to view the internship opportunities.  Once you find internships of interest, please contact the Career Center with your resume and cover letter for referrals to interview.

The student will comply with the internship program guidelines. The employment supervisor will meet at the work site with the instructor twice during the semester to evaluate the student's performance. The instructor will award academic credit for successful completion of assignments. Internship studies credit may be used for elective credit toward the associate degree. Transfer credit for this course is offered at the discretion of the transfer institution.
