Instructor notes: This course requires twelve hours a week of work (equivalent to an online course that meets for fours hours a week and has an additional eight hours of work outside of class), and work is due on Tuesday and Friday nights at midnight (11:59 PM). The course has a heavy reading and writing load made heavier online because students must read and/ or view lectures and instructions typically delivered verbally in class and interact with classmates in ways that can be more time consuming than in an onsite setting. Students will find the course available in blackboard on January 2 and the first assignments will be due on Tuesday January 14 (the second day of the first week of class). Students will need to have purchased books in order to complete assignments due on Friday, January17 (at the end of the first week of class).
