Instructor notes: This fully online course will expose students to the world of art materials/processes and art history scanning over 2000 years. We will be using the text: Living With Art, by Mark Getlein, 9th or 10th edition, as well as many videos & films to frame our discussions. We will navigate the course with weekly assignments organized into Weekly Folders that incorporate pdf documents, slide presentations, textbook reading/videos, exams & discussion topics. In the beginning of the semester, the class will broken up into 4 small groups for discussion boards that will then only contribute to their groups. There is a required assignment/discussion on the first Wednesday of the semester, 1/15, to establish "attendance". Please email me if you have any questions: xeggleton@miracosta.edu
