Instructor notes: This is a late-start, compressed, 15-week section that starts the day after Labor Day. It moves quickly, so please arrange access to the textbook (Trujillo and Thurman, Essentials of Oceanography, 10th ed.) before the start date. This is not the most current edition of the book! Ours is a textbook-intensive course section, with regular page and diagram references specific to the 10th edition. The course does not use the supplemental, costly resources available through the publisher.
