Word Processing

In this course, students practice basic operations of a word processing application while creating business documents. Assignments include letters, memos, reports, tables, announcements, newsletters, mail merge, graphics, electronic messaging, Internet research, and projects designed to provide workplace simulation experiences.

Instructor notes: Welcome! In this class you will learn to work with business documentation, such as newsletters, mail merge, formatting tables, forms, labels, letters, reports, etc. IMPORTANT NOTE: The class will be taught using Microsoft Word 2010 or Word 2007 for PC only. A text book is not required, all the lectures, lessons and materials are posted in Blackboard. This is an online format class that has a steady due date deadline schedule throughout the semester. Basic knowledge of MS Word is preferable. Class begins on 08/19/2013 All enrolled students will receive an email (sent to the email address on file in SURF) from me one week prior to the class start date.
