Functional Resistance Training (KINE 100) and Body Conditioning/Wellness Lab (KINE 142) are two courses taught in the Wellness Center. The Center, located in building OC4100, houses a complete strength training circuit, cardio equipment, free weights, stretching area and more.

How does the program work?
In this program, we will encourage you to develop positive exercise habits that meet your needs. You will learn about your present level of fitness and effective strength training techniques and programs. We'll show you appropriate way to safely use our cardiovascular and resistance equipment. You will also learn how to build strength, lean muscle mass and tone specific areas using weight machines and free weights.
How do I sign up?
Register in a Wellness Center course first, either KINE 142 Body Conditioning / Wellness Lab or KINE 100 Functional Resistance Training. Note which class and section you are enrolled in so that you can arrive at the appropriate time and place. Your instructor will guide you through your preliminary paperwork, fitness assessments and exercise program. We look forward to working with you!
