How to Apply & Enroll in Credit Classes
Transferring Students
A Transferring Student has completed college courses at another college and is transferring those credits to MiraCosta.
- A transferring student must submit an application before enrolling. Use the paper application included in the class schedule or apply online. Allow 24 - 48 hours for the application to be processed.
- If you are planning to use courses completed at another college as prerequisites for MiraCosta courses, you must complete the Requisite Review Form and attach with it a copy of your transcript (unofficial is acceptable) showing successful completion of the class (grade “C” or better). The form and transcript copy may be submitted to the Admissions and Records Office in person, by mail, or faxed 760.795.6626.
- If you plan to earn a degree at MiraCosta and/or transfer, make an appointment with a counselor 760.795.6670, or the Transfer Center 760.795.6880 to develop an education plan.
