Applying for Financial Aid
A multi-step process that can be confusing. A missed step can lead to frustration and stress. MiraCosta's Financial Aid Guide 2012-13 and MiraCosta's Financial Aid Guide 2013-14 contains information that will assist you with the process and answer any questions you may have.
Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) On-line Workshop - Effective 2010-11, all students are required to complete the MiraCosta College SAP Workshop and quiz. A score of 100% is required. Once you receive 100%, the results will be electronically submitted to the financial aid office. Please allow two business days for the Financial Aid office to process your results and update your To Do list on SURF. Effective 2013-14, not required.
Direct Deposit
The MiraCosta College Financial Aid Office is pleased to offer you direct deposit as an option to receive your Pell, FSEOG, Cal Grant, and Direct Loan funds. Direct Depost Information
