Volunteer Needs: One pint of blood can save up to three lives and you can be part of that process by being a registration table host to greet and educate the donors as they arrive. ARC Blood Services holds two to five blood drives a day somewhere in San Diego County, from the border to Temecula, everywhere you can imagine, schools, malls, military bases, and local businesses. Registration volunteers are needed to help check in donors. Drives last 6 hours long and volunteers can stay for the entire day or half of the day, hours are 7:30-7:00. Having a volunteer at the registration table is often the difference between our blood drives making goal or not. Bilingual volunteers are always needed especially in the North County. A volunteer application and online background check is required free of charge. Minimum age is 16.
