All MiraCosta College students are members of the Associated Student Government, which supports the projects and programs of many clubs catering to students with interests ranging from Business to Community Service. You can join — or lead — any of these organizations. Clubs meet the social and intellectual interests of students at MiraCosta College.

Allied Health Occupations Rachel Finn John Thomford Himgauri Kulkarni
The goal of Allied Health Occupations Club (AHOC) at Mira Costa College is to educate and bring students together that are interested in entering any profession in the medical field. AHOC also gives volunteer opportunities as well as activities to get students involved in the community. The club will also provide a forum where these students may discuss their interests and interact with employed professionals at Club-sponsored seminars.

Backstage Players Sawyer Henderson Bryon Andersen Andrew Layton
The Backstage Players (BSP) is a theatre and film club of MiraCosta. Our members are students, former students, and friends of MiraCosta Theatre and Film. Our mission is threefold: 1. To promote ensemble as we grow, learn, and explore theatre together; 2 - To share our knowledge, talents, and love for theatre with the campus and larger community; 3 - To support the MiraCosta Theatre and Film program by raising funds to assist students as they extend their study of theatre and film.

The purpose of the Black Student Union is to promote cultural unity with the student population and the community at large. The Black Student Union strives towards educational excellence, diversity, and creating a positive learning experience.

The Chemistry Club serves as a venue to foster community building centered around the field of chemistry and to communicate interests in that field while exploring different career opportunities.

The Chess Club is a club where students of all experience in chess can meet and play chess. We will also go over theory, practice and learn about the best players in chess.

Club IT is a student club focused on Infromation Technology related topics to augment student's knowledge learned in information technology, computer science, business, and other related courses. Club IT provides students with an opportunity to gain experience and knowledge working on real projects at MiraCosta, local nonprofits and small businesses. Club IT is a relaxed atmosphere where members can meet with like minded people to learn how to work smarter and not harder, and to have fun!

The Democrats of MiraCosta College is a political club on campus that works to get students involved in youth activism and their community. It provides them with a safe place to discuss politics and what they are passionate about. The club is open to everyone regardless of their party, views, or if they're registered to vote.

The objective of the Gender Sexuality Alliance of MiraCosta College is to create a safe space on campus that supports members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer community and their straight allies.

A group which concentrates on educating, integrating, and unifying both American and mixed status students and communities. Our goal is to promote a safe space any students experiencing federal distress due to a mixed status situation on a personal or secondary level. We are open to anyone who supports the cause or is passionate towards reaching a point of justified equality.

The Maker Club (formerly Design, Engineering, Architecture, and Design) allows for students from all related disciplines to grow and learn in a small community setting. Our goas and projects aim to equip students with the experience and oversight of the engineering, architecture, or design field with hands-on interaction, builds, tech-tallies, and guidance from faculty. The Design Club invites ambitious and creative innovators to join.

M.E.Ch.A. (Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan) is a Chicana/o organization which was founded at a conference held in Santa Barbara, California in 1968. M.E.Ch.A's primary responsibility is to the Chicana/o community.

A union consisting of diverse individuals who teach, learn, and help the diversification of education about Native

The Natural Science Club provides educational and enjoyable opportunities outside the classroom for students to explore biology, botany, ecology, geology, astronomy, oceanography, archaeology, and related fields through museum visits, hiking and camping in the wilderness, field trips, and other nature study events.

Our goal at the Nursing Student's Association (NSA) is to support and encourage students in all levels of the field of nursing. The NSA is a community built to develop and foster the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this.

The purpose of the Vegan Club, (previously called "Spartans for Animals", is to provide any student on campus a place where they can feel supported in their journey towards a more compassionate lifestyle. The club also plans to engage in on-campus activism through handin out information and giving out free vegan fod for students to try during college hour.

PUENTE students who focus on transferring to a four year institution. PUENTE focuses on service learning, character building, leadership development, and peer support. This organization will emphasize the education and learning about Raza and the Chicano/a/Latino/a culture and experience.

Eomen in Computer Science Club Reesha Rajen Erin Thomas  

The purpose of this organization is to help and encourage women to pursue a successful career in the field of
Computer Science, and to promote, support, and retain the growing community of this historically underrepresented
population within the field. Informally known as WiCS, the club intends to serve as a social and professional non-profit
organization with the intention of hosting various activities, including professional workshops, technical workshops,
community outreach programs, and social gatherings. Although the focus emphasizes women in Computer Science,
everyone is welcomed to join.
