“Family & Friends over everything else,” is my motto. I am an Oceanside native, 36 year old disabled US Army Vet and father of two sons, Jaydon - 17 years old and Blake - 12 years old. My college goal is to achieve a nursing degree (B.S.N.). I am a huge sports fan (Chargers and Padres) and I’m involved in my community with BOLT PRIDE to help foundations such as Wounded Warriors, Princess Project, Relay for Life and Toys for Tots. I enjoy DJing, dirt bikes and most of all helping others.

Hello, my name is Leopoldo Curiel, and I commonly go by “Leo”. I am a native from Oceanside, CA where I graduated from Oceanside High School in June 2006. I joined the Navy’s Delayed Entry Program in January 2006, and shipped out that November. I enlisted as a US Navy Nuke Electronics’ Technician and followed that path for six years. After the military, I continued my dream of higher education by attending MiraCosta College for my Engineering general education. My goal is to transfer in order to pursue my degrees in Nuclear (or Thermodynamics) Engineering and Electrical Engineering. In my down time I enjoy the simple things in life, and lending a helping hand when needed.
