Welcome to Veterans Services at MiraCosta College! Veterans Services consists of the Veterans Education Office and the Veterans Information Center.
Veterans Education Office
The Veterans Education Office, located in Building 3300, provides assistance to veterans and dependents wishing to use their educational benefits at MiraCosta College. This office is staffed by MiraCosta’s VA Certifying Officials, as well as VA work-study students.
Veterans Information Center
The Veterans Information Center, located in Building T-100, provides a place for students to find resources on VA educational benefits, MiraCosta Student Services, and community organizations that are dedicated to assisting veterans. The center also provides a place for students to relax, study, and meet with friends.
The Veterans Information Center is staffed by Veteran Peer Advisors. They are student veterans, specially trained to assist fellow students in identifying relevant programs and resources that are available on campus and in the community. Resources are available on a variety of issues, including employment, counseling, housing, and healthcare.
The Veterans Information Center also houses the Veterans Services Coordinator, Veterans Counselors, and a VA representative.
The Veterans Services staff is committed to helping you achieve your academic goals. If we can provide additional information, please visit our offices or contact us.
