In the fall of 2008, MiraCosta College hired Interact Communications to conduct an environmental scan of its internal and external communities. The purpose of the scan was to explore the college’s strengths and weaknesses to determine whether or not the college was doing everything possible to meet the needs of the community. Information gathered during the process would then become a part of the upcoming educational master planning process.
