Volunteer Needs: The Arc of San Diego is the largest, most comprehensive provider of services for individuals with disabilities in San Diego County. Volunteers are needed to assist the PALS department with recreation activities Friday evening - Sunday. Help with cooking classes. Join the fun and gain practical experience working with teens and adults with intellectual and development disabilities today! The Arc requires fingerprints, TB test, background check, drug test, and physical at no cost to you.

Volunteer Needs: Volunteers who have a passion and desire to work with and inspire youth are needed. The organization provides health and wellness programs and students can assist with these. Students must be sure to identify themselves as nutrition students. Fingerprinting is required . Participants can pick up volunteer applications and Live Scan information at our main site, 401 Country Club Lane. All participants must interview with the BGC of Oceanside prior to being fingerprinted.

Volunteer Needs: Volunteers help with every aspect of operations at the food bank: collecting donations, sorting food, packing and distributing food boxes and cleaning. Volunteer opportunities are on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Before your first shift, you need to attend an orientation and training session, which we have at different days and times, usually once per week. The time spent in training will go towards your total service hours. Orientations need to be scheduled ahead of time, no drop-ins.
