Position Desired: Vice President of the San Elijo Campus
Academic Major: Sociology
Career Goal: Work in the field of sociology after obtaining a masters degree in the subject.
1. What do you hope to accomplish for the students of MiraCosta College?
I hope to create and better inform students on campus events and services by continuing in class presentations. I also hope to advocate for students on a state and local level.
2. What high school, college, or community volunteer positions have you held?
I am a Sunday school teacher at The Rock Church. I create lessons, games, and organize events for children of the ages of 0-12 years old. I also volunteered in MiraCosta’s Holiday Angles donations for children in need.
3. What qualities do you possess that will make you a good leader?
The qualities that I possess which make me a good leader are that I am cooperative, flexible, I am a quick learner, I am honest, confident, supportive, compassionate, and I have integrity.
4. Do you have any prior student leadership experience? If so, please explain.
I am currently a senator of San Elijo Campus. I represent the students body’s needs and concerns, I encourage faculty, staff, and students to participate in Associated Student Government activities. I am leading projects that benefit the community and students. For example I am helping plan the end of the year banquet and I am leading the San Elijo Spring Project.
