Planning for Electronic Commerce Assignment
For your final project, you will be creating or improving an E-Commerce web site for a real or fictitious business. Whether your business is new or established, when going online you need to plan well. Do the following:
- Put this assignment in the Business Strategy Outline section of your E-commerce Plan
- Write a brief description of your E-commerce business
- Outline a business strategy for the online business you selected for your final project. The outline should include a list of specific objectives and the costs and benefits of accomplishing each objective. The outline should also include recommendations regarding what to outsource, what Web hosting services are needed, and what staff should be hired.
- Create lists and brief descriptions of the major hardware, software, security, payment processing, advertising, international, legal, and ethics issues that might arise in the development of this electronic commerce site

- Start on the About Us page and Contact page for your E-Commerce site
- This does not need to be the completed version, just a start
- In this week’s discussion paste the link to your About Us page and Contact Page or attach a screen shot
- Tell us your plans for the About Us and Contact pages and what you would like feedback about
- Post your discussion on Canvas
- By the end of next week provide feedback for at least two other students’ About us and Contact pages
