Hi everyone. My name is Loiza and I am a first-generation college student. I previously worked in the service and healthcare industry before I decided to return to school and pursue college. However, studying while working full-time has not been easy. I did not know anybody in my classes and was not aware of the resources available in school that could help me. But with the support and encouragement of my professors and classmates, I attained better results in my classes and I am now getting close to finishing my Associate in Accountancy degree.
As my way of giving back to MiraCosta’s supportive community, it is my pleasure to be of assistance to my fellow students. I am here to guide you in your success and help you have an enriching academic journey.
