The Writing Center is committed to helping students gain the skills they need in order to be successful. With advance notice, we can craft and facilitate in-class workshops tailored especially for your students. These can be similar to our existing student workshops, or can be of a more specific nature depending on subject matter or current class assignments. Workshops can range in time frame from 30-50 minutes and can be requested on specific dates that work best for you and your students.
Some examples of workshop topics are listed below. If you are interested in exploring a particular topic,or if there is another topic you’d like us to explore with your students, please send an email to our Writing Center Specialist, Stephanie Taylor, at staylor@miracosta.edu.
