Faculty Spotlight

Yoshimi Hayashi

Yoshimi moved to the United States from Japan as a child. As a teen, he returned to Japan to study ceramics and apprenticed with world-class sculptor Hiroshi Ikehata. Today he teaches sculpture and ceramics — bringing decades of practice into the studio.
