The Transfer Center is committed to helping students achieve their transfer goals through empowerment and education. Transfer counselors provide guidance by creating education plans, helping students figure out career choices, assisting with transfer applications, and encouraging and directing students to resources for mental health and personal care.
Transfer Counseling Services
Transfer Express Counseling Sessions
Our 20-minute Transfer Express counseling sessions are open to new, current, and returning students, and were designed as first-come, first-served sessions, both online (via Zoom) and in person at the Oceanside and San Elijo campuses.
There are two ways to get on the Transfer Express list:
- Call the Transfer Center at 760.795.6680
- Visit the Transfer Center at the Oceanside campus (Building 14) or the Student Services Welcome Center at the San Elijo Campus (Building 1100)
Transfer Counseling Appointments
Students are encouraged to schedule a transfer counseling appointment to develop a comprehensive educational plan that outlines courses, transfer application deadlines, support services, professional development opportunities, and other resources semester by semester. This plan is created in partnership with a transfer counselor and is personalized and based on each student’s unique circumstances, as well as their transfer and career goals.
