Apply for Admission as a Noncredit Student
If you are a new or returning (stopped out for 2 semesters or more) NONCREDIT student, you will need to complete the Noncredit Application. If you have problems with the application process, please contact Noncredit Admissions & Records at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once you get your welcome email get your Student ID (SURF ID) and set up your account.
Once your application is processed we will send you a welcome email. You will then need to retrieve your student ID (we call it a SURF ID) and set up your student account online. (go to: miracosta.edu/tutorials and scroll down to "SURF ID and Password" for instructions)
Open to all Continuing Education (noncredit) Students
Orientation is a great way for you to be introduced to the college and learn more about everything we offer at MiraCosta College. Orientation is highly recommended but not required to enroll in classes. To attend a LIVE Orientation via Zoom or in person, or to access orientation online go to miracosta.edu/clcorientation to sign up. Log onto SURF
Having obtained your SURF ID and password, you are ready to register for your class. Be sure that you are registering for the appropriate class/section number. To complete your registration: Use the following link to access SURF and login. Enter your SURF ID number and password.
