Brother Benno Foundation EOPS Scholarship
This scholarship is for students who wish to apply for the Brother Benno Foundation
EOPS Scholarship
who are active EOPS student for current semester
- Must be active EOPS student for Spring 2025
- Must have a cumulative 2.0 GPA or higher
Students who were awarded the Brother Benno Scholarship in fall 2024 are not eligible to receive the award again in spring 2025. However, you can apply next year.

Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship
The JKC Undergraduate transfer Scholarship is a highly selective scholarship for the nation’s top community college students seeking to complete their bachelor’s degrees at four-year colleges or universities.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Be a current student at an accredited U.S. community college with sophomore status as of January 1, 2025, or a recent graduate (since spring 2020)
- Plan to enroll in a full-time baccalaureate program at an accredited college or university in the fall of 2025
- Have a cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent)
- Demonstrate unmet financial need. Applicants with a maximum annual gross income of $95,000 will be considered (during the selection process, the Foundation will conduct a full financial review which will take into account all income and assets of the student and the student’s parents)
- No previous enrollment or attendance at a four-year institution. Students who have
attended a four-year institution in the past are not eligible for this scholarship

Non-Credit Scholarships
CLC ESL Scholarship & CLC Adult High School/GED/HSET Scholarship
This scholarship application is for current or former non-credit students only (Adult High School, English as a Second Language, High School Equivalency (HSE), and Adult Basic Education) who plan to continue their education at MiraCosta College.
- Must be enrolled or have been enrolled Community Learning Center (CLC) in either summer 2024, fall 2024 or spring 2025
- Must complete MiraCosta College Credit Application for Admission by Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
- Must plan to attend the College in credit classes during the Fall 2025 semester and
show proof of enrollment
- Students who do not enroll in Fall 2025 credit classes may forfeit scholarship awards. If you are not planning to enroll in credit classes in fall 2025, please let the Scholarship Office know immediately.

RAFFY Scholarships For Former Foster Youth
Students wishing to apply to the RAFFY Scholarships Bob Wilson Bob Wilson Scholarship For Former Foster, and Beckman-Matsui Family Scholarship For Former Foster Youth may complete the Common Scholarship application.
- MiraCosta students with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
- Students must be former Foster Youth participating in the RAFFY program
- Must have completed 6 units or more at MiraCosta College and are currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 units
- Have financial need

Safaralian Math Scholarship
This scholarship is for students who have completed two or more college level math courses at MiraCosta College.
- Must have at least a "B" in every transfer level math course at MiraCosta College
- Must be a STEM major
- Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

San Diego Foundation Common Scholarship Application
Scholarships are available for new or current students attending community colleges and four-year universities, graduating high school seniors can also apply. In just one application, our Common Scholarship Application provides students access to more than 130 scholarship opportunities with awards ranging from $1,000 to more than $5,000.
- Minimum 2.0 GPA
- Participation in community service, extracurricular activities and/or work experience
- Current residence in San Diego County (for at least one year)
- Need help to pay for school (including middle-income families)
- Must complete a FAFSA or CA Dream Act (CADAA). This is necessary for all applicants. The 2025-2026 academic year for FAFSA opens in December 2024.

Service Learning Scholarships
Students will complete one Service Learning Scholarship Application to apply for both the Cal Coast and Wilkinson Scholarships.
Cal Cast Credit Union Scholarship
A Service Learning scholarship for students involved with student leadership activities on campus and/or at a nonprofit or K-12 educational facility.
- Must have completed 12 or more units at MiraCosta College with a 3.0 or greater Grade Point Average (GPA)
- Must be currently enrolled in nine (9) or more units at MiraCosta College
- Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Completed 25 hours of volunteer/service *(hours must be documented through the MiraCosta Service Learning & Volunteer Center).
Wilkinson Scholarship
This scholarship is for students who demonstrate financial need and have completed a minimum of 50 hours of volunteer service or 15 service learning at a nonprofit organization or K-12 school that conforms to MiraCosta Service Learning standards.
Students eligible to apply:
- Must have completed six units or more at MiraCosta College with a GPA of 2.0 or greater
- Must have completed a minimum of 15 hours of volunteer service or service learning
at a nonprofit organization or K-12 school that conforms to MiraCosta Service Learning
standards.
- Service activities must be performed while the student is enrolled at MiraCosta College, and service hours must be documented through the MiraCosta Service Learning and Volunteer Center. A current Service Learning/Volunteer timecard must be uploaded to the application.

UPRISE GANAS Scholarship
This scholarship is for MiraCosta College students who are AB540 students or mixed status students.
- Participate in UPRISE Program at MiraCosta College
- Complete 15 hours of volunteer/service *(hours must be documented through the MiraCosta Service Learning & Volunteer Center)

Hoffman Agency HBCU Scholarship
The Hoffman Agency Scholarship will cover tuition and fees for a California Community College student who transfers to attending an HBCU to study communications.
We are looking to reward a California Communicate College student transferring to an HBCU who cares about others and their surrounding community and values education.
- Applicants must be currently enrolled at a California Community College during the 2024-2025 academic year.
- Applicants must provide a letter of acceptance from one of the 30 HBCU partners that participate in the California Community College Guarantee to Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
- Applicants must major in a discipline that falls under the communications umbrella at their attending HBCU

Tri-City Hospital Auxiliary Nursing Scholarship
The Tri-City Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship is available for Nursing school students.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be enrolled in the Nursing program at MiraCosta College for the 2025-2026 school year (can start Summer 2025 and/or Fall-Spring 2025-2026)
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative Grade Point Average and a minimum 3.0 GPA in Nursing classes
- Your application must include your unofficial transcript, three personal references and a personal statement discussing your personal background, motivation, career goals, and financial need
Scholarship recipients will be expected to attend the Auxiliary Scholarship Awards Night held April 15, 2025.
