Employers can recruit on MiraCosta’s campuses during Fall, Spring or Summer semesters. Recruiting on campus provides you with the opportunity to meet individually with students and establish a campus presence. This is beneficial if you are looking to hire for several positions and/or looking for employees to start right away.
General Information about Recruitment
All employers who recruit on campus must follow the On-Campus Recruiting Policies. The cost is $50 and we require the full payment one week prior to the visit. The one-week notice will provide the Career Center staff time to confirm the space and mailing time for a required parking permit and campus map. You will receive a table and two chairs in a high-traffic area. The Career Center recommends requesting a table between Monday-Thursday with peak times over lunch (11-1), but you are welcome to setup and tear down anytime between 8 am - 4 pm.
How to Request Your Dates
Create an account and log in to JAIN (Job and Internship Network), next click On Campus Requests, and then Add Request.
Once your date(s) have been confirmed by Career Center staff, you will receive an email to log back into JAIN and pay for your recruitment table. You must pay before the day(s) of your recruitment.
