To use your approved exam accommodations for an exam that requires in-person or zoom proctoring, please login to ClockWork and submit your exam request. On-ground Courses
Proctoring is available for students with approved SAS exam accommodations for on-ground courses. To schedule a SAS in-person proctoring appointment, please contact your instructor to alert them to the request and then complete the online ClockWork exam request with at least a 7 day notice for all exams (14 days for finals). Once your appointment is booked and your instructor is contacted, you will receive a confirmation email containing information regarding your appointment such as specific exam parameters, testing location and any safety measures in place.
Online Courses
Proctoring is available for students with approved SAS exam accommodations for online courses. Zoom proctoring will be in a session with a proctor from the SAS testing office. To schedule a SAS Zoom proctoring appointment, please contact your instructor to alert them to the request and then complete the online ClockWork exam request with at least a 7 day notice for all exams (14 days for finals). Once your appointment is booked and your instructor is contacted, you will receive a confirmation email containing information regarding your appointment such as specific exam parameters and zoom meeting information.
Requirements needed for a SAS Zoom proctoring session
- A secure, private testing space
- Electronics other than the device used to test must be powered off and put away
- A functioning webcam AND microphone
- A picture ID ready to show BEFORE you begin the exam
- The student must join the meeting at the scheduled exam time. The appointment will be canceled if the student is more than 15 minutes late.
Security
Proctors will ask the student to show their ID, surface of the desk they are working on and the room they are working in using the webcam. Proctors will remind the student of any proctoring rules for the course and review the requirements of the exam, exam duration, and accommodations. Proctors will ask the student to share their computer screen with computer sound selected. Proctors should be able to see/hear the student’s webcam, microphone, and their computer screen and sound.
