Create your own stress ball and take part in a supportive mental health event focused on practical, body-based coping skills. Learn simple techniques you can use at home and share with loved ones to manage stress and build calm. Join us in creating community and practicing self-care.

Independent Contracting 101
This session will introduce students to self-employment, with a focus on independent contracting and freelancing opportunities. Sharet Garcia, founder of UndocuProfessionals will be reviewing the essential steps to start or continue a freelance journey. Students will review the best practices to make this a sustainable career option and know how to start an entrepreneurship journey. A virtual career panel will be held, featuring independent contractors who will discuss their professional journeys and lived experiences.
