Free Food and Resource Markets
CARE Free Food & Resource Market (Formerly Known As Farmer's Market)
In addition to the Campus Food Pantry, MiraCosta College offers a free bi-monthly food distribution. This is a campus-wide collaboration with the San Diego Food Bank and Feeding San Diego to provide access to FREE produce and dry goods. To access this service, students need their Spartan Pass (student ID card) or SURF ID number.
The food distribution schedule will generally be as follows: 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Oceanside Campus from 1:00pm-2:00pm and the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the Community Learning Center from 1:00pm-2:00pm. Changes to dates may apply due to holidays or finals week. Rescheduling and cancellation of events will be announced on Instagram.
